This cap is inspired by one from the 1920s. A "Juliet cap" is a type of close-fitting women's hat, usually made of openwork crochet or mesh. They were named for the type of cap often drawn on Shakespeare's Juliet and were highly popular among brides in the 1920s and 1930s. The cap is entirely hand-made.
